At REGEN Clinic, the privacy and security of our patients and website users are paramount. This policy details our commitment to protecting your personal data and your rights in relation to that data.

Recorded consultations and your skin plan
If you agree, Dr Chris may record your consultation so that your personalised plan can be written up accurately afterwards. With your permission, the recording is automatically turned into a written transcript, and a clinical AI tool helps Dr Chris draft your plan from that transcript, your completed consultation form and — where you have shared them — your photographs.
The transcript and your plan are prepared as drafts for Dr Chris to review. He checks, edits and approves everything before any part of it becomes your clinical record or is shared with you. Nothing about your care is decided by the AI, and no plan, message or prescription reaches you until Dr Chris has personally signed it off.
Your recording is stored securely (encrypted, UK region), is seen only by Dr Chris, and is deleted within 7 days of your plan being finalised. The written transcript is kept as part of your clinical record in the usual way. Speech-to-text transcription is carried out by our infrastructure provider under terms that prevent your data being used to train their systems.
Recording is entirely optional. You can decline and still have your full consultation — Dr Chris will simply take notes as he always has. You can also ask, at any time, for a recording to be deleted or for AI not to be used in your care; this is recorded and respected without affecting your treatment.
As with the rest of your clinical record, we rely on UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h) — processing of special-category data necessary for the provision of healthcare. Your consent governs whether a recording is made; it is not the basis on which your clinical information is processed.
6.0 Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or regulations. We will post updates on our website and provide a more prominent notice for significant changes.
