Pigmentation & Tone

Even tone, restored at the source.

Targeted, medical-grade care for pigmentation, melasma, sun damage and uneven tone — addressing the cause, not just the surface.

Norwich & London

Pigmentation is one of the most rewarding skin concerns to treat well — and one of the easiest to make worse with the wrong approach. Melasma in particular needs care, not aggression.

We identify the type of pigmentation you have, then combine prescription-grade homecare with carefully chosen in-clinic treatment. Sun protection is not optional in this plan; it is part of the treatment.

How we treat it

Tone, corrected and protected

01 — Assess

Reveal consultation

Dr Chris identifies the type and depth of pigmentation and rules out anything that needs caution, such as melasma.

02 — Prescribe

Medical-grade homecare

A ZO or Obagi programme to brighten, regulate pigment and defend against the sun.

03 — Treat

In-clinic course

Peels, facials or microneedling, selected to lift pigment safely for your skin type.

04 — Review

Ongoing reviews

Pigment can return without maintenance — we keep tone even with a long-term plan.

Spreading the cost

Courses, made manageable

Pigmentation is corrected over a series of treatments. Courses and memberships spread the cost across the plan, so you can stay consistent — which is what keeps tone even.

Take it home

The right routine, prescribed

Brightening homecare and daily SPF do much of the work. We prescribe a ZO or Obagi routine to your skin; the skin quiz is a simple starting point.

Suitability & honest expectations

What to expect

Pigmentation improves gradually, and results depend on the type, your skin and your consistency with homecare and sun protection. Melasma can be managed well but tends to recur, so it is treated conservatively. Some treatments are not suitable in pregnancy — we will always advise honestly.

Daily SPF is non-negotiable in any pigmentation plan. Without it, results will not hold.

Questions, answered

Pigmentation FAQs

Can you treat melasma?

Yes, with care. Melasma is managed rather than cured, using gentler, well-judged treatment and strong homecare to keep it settled.

How long until I see a difference?

Most clients notice gradual brightening over several weeks, with fuller results across a course. It is a steady improvement, not an overnight one.

Is this safe for darker skin tones?

Yes — treatment is selected for your skin type. This is exactly what the Reveal consultation assesses before anything begins.
