What is Micro-needling?

Potential side effects of Micro-needling are usually temporary and may include itching, swelling, stinging, skin tightness, and erythema (redness). These effects generally subside within 48 hours.
Is the Micro-needling procedure painful?
To ensure patient comfort during the procedure, a topical numbing cream (topical anaesthetic) is applied before the treatment starts. This helps to minimize any discomfort.
When can I expect to see results from Micro-needling?
Following the treatment, the skin may appear red and flushed, similar to a moderate sunburn. This condition improves after a few hours. Visible results typically manifest 3-6 weeks post-treatment and continue to improve over time. What are the aftercare instructions for Micro-needling?
After the procedure, we advise avoiding sun exposure for 48 hours and refraining from applying makeup or sunscreen for 24-48 hours. Engaging in strenuous exercises or swimming should also be avoided until the skin has fully healed. You will also be given a 4 day skincare regime to follow.
